Free Valuation
Do you have art, design, antiques, or a full house content that you wish to sell? You can send photos to dvc@dvc.be or via WhatsApp to +32 473 66 72 92 for a free first impression, after which we can make an appointment. Do you prefer a personal conversation? You are welcome at our location. We are happy to receive you.
Intake
Your goods are eligible for one of our auctions? We will draw up a consignment note. Can’t bring the goods yourself? Contact us for an appointment at your place.
Auction & Payout
Your item will be offered worldwide and auctioned live. After a successful sale, you will receive your payout starting 4 weeks after the auction.
Rates & Conditions
Transparent agreements, no surprises.
Selling Costs
Upon sale, the following is deducted from the hammer price:
- Free: Valuations and photography are included.
- 15% Commission: On the achieved hammer price. We always strive to get the best result possible, a higher price is good for you and for us ! *
- € 2 Administration: Fixed cost per lot.
- If applicable : collection/transport costs.
Payout
The net amount will be paid starting from 4 weeks after the auction AND only after the lot has been paid for by the buyer in the meantime.
Please contact us pro-actively 4 weeks after the auction to expedite your payment. Send us an email with your bank account number, and we will provide you with a settlement statement and transfer the funds to your account.
Consignment Days
You can visit us without an appointment during our fixed consignment hours:
- Antwerp: Friday (14:00 – 17:00) & Saturday (10:00 – 12:00). No consignment during auction days !
- Ghent: Monday (14:00 – 17:00).
Home Visit & Transport
Do you have a large collection or a complete household? We are happy to visit you.
- Home visit: Possible by appointment.
- Transport: We can arrange the transport of your goods. Rates start from € 100, depending on distance and volume.
Appraisal Report
Our experts can draw up an appraisal report at your request; for private use, a notary or insurance companies.
The costs for such an expertise will be discussed with you in advance. This depends on the size of the household or assignment and is a flat fee or percentage-based with a minimum of € 350 excluding VAT.
* For higher value lots or collections, commission can be discussed.
