Dorien Janssens
Back Office & Organization
For many, Dorien has been a familiar face for years. She started helping her uncle and aunt organize exhibitions and auctions at the age of sixteen. Meanwhile, she has secured a permanent spot next to the auctioneer on auction days.
Dorien is responsible for invoicing and the back office, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will also see her smile shining alongside the jewelry during our viewing days.
Arno Sanctorum
Technology & Auctioneer
Arno has been a permanent member of the DVC team since 2018. With a background in technology, he plays a key role in keeping pace with the rapidly evolving world of online auctions.
Thanks to his knowledge and experience, Arno ensures that DVC Auctions remains at the forefront of the digital auction market. Under the expert guidance of Dominique, he has developed a thorough understanding of all aspects of the profession, including the role of auctioneer. Arno will personally welcome you and guide you through all your questions regarding the sale of art and estates.
Our Founders
DVC Auctions was founded by Ria Janssens and Dominique Van Cappel, two driven individuals who brought their passion for art and antiques together.
Ria Janssens
Co-Founder
Ria was the well-known face while showcasing jewelry during our viewing days, where her expertise and personal customer approach were immaculate. She also took charge of photographing all art objects.
Her eye for detail and her passionate approach towards each object helped shape the auction house into what it is today. After many years of involvement, Ria is now enjoying her well-deserved retirement.
Dominique Van Cappel
Co-Founder & Expert
Dominique is an expert appraiser of paintings and art objects and alternates as auctioneer with Arno. With his years of experience, Dominique is an established name in the auction world.
As a mentor and appraiser, Dominique is still regularly present on the floor. With his profound knowledge of art and antiques, he ensures that DVC Auctions continues to excel.
